[Int'l Green Energy Expo 2020] Seochang Electric Communication introduces SolpoMax and independent compact ESS

Seochang Electric Communication participated in the 17th International Green Energy Expo held at EXCO, Daegu from July 15-17 to introduce its power optimizer solar power generation equipment FPV system that can be used in the water.
Seochang Electric Communications (CEO Yoon Sung-hee), a leader in the domestic electricity meter industry, was founded in 1994 and has been selling only the products related to the field of low-voltage electricity meter for 26 years. It has recently added electric switch and transformer and successfully made itself a successful heavy electric equipment company. In an effort to transform into an energy solution company, it recently entered the new and renewable energy business based on ESS and IoT network technology, and in order to do this, it built a new factory in Naju Innovation Industrial Complex, Jeonnam in 2017, and produces heavy electric equipment and ESS.
SolpoMax, presented at this expo, is a solar power optimizer developed by applying the first silicon technology and proprietary distributed MPPT algorithm of First Silicon, which can improve power production by 20~30% and improve stability. It is the industry's best product that enhances stability and convenience, and enables efficient maintenance.
Real-time performance monitoring for each module can be done while increasing uniformity in output between modules due to dust, shade, and climate change. The internal intelligent control program helps quickly find and diagnose problems to resolve them. Also, with the wiring system, it can be stopped remotely without additional wiring for safer maintenance.
The company also introduced a home ESS for the electric vehicle era and a standalone ESS for smart farms and remote areas. It is more reliable with a design that meets international certification requirements such as three-stage battery protection system and UL, CE, KC, and CET. It boasts a self cut-off system that prevents accidents by detecting a battery overcharge and overheating even if the BMS and switch elements that control the semiconductor and transmit warning signals in case of abnormal conditions become completely inoperable.
The 17th International Green Energy Expo, hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do and organized by EXCO, KECA, KNREA, KOPIA, KWEIA, KHIA, and KOTRA, is the new and renewable energy business marketing platform where 300 companies from 25 countries participated in 2019, attracting 32,000 visitors. It is Korea's largest, third in Asia, and one of the top 10 solar power and ESS exhibitions.
