Deepmedi (CEO Lee Gwang-jin) will participate in the world's largest technology exhibition CES 2020 opening in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10 and will display its health information measuring applications Neul Hyeorap and Hailey in CES startup zone Eureka Park MIK INNOVATION HOT SPOT with the support from Gwangju University Startup Support Group.
The company has a technology for estimating heart rate signals, blood pressure, and the aging of blood vessels by measuring the intensity of light reflected by blood as it absorbs light when shooting a finger on a mobile phone camera. The company recently developed the technology for estimating the heart rate from the face.
CEO Lee noticed that many people came to the hospital with complications from chronic diseases based on his experiences at university hospitals, and began the development of technology with the wish to make the management easier by integrating engineering technology.
Neul Hyeorap is the easiest mobile medical application to find out blood pressure without using cuff by using both AI-based blood pressure estimation technology and camera-based heart rate detection technology.
Hailey is an application that allows you to breathe through your smartphone and manage blood pressure by it.
Existing sphygmomanometer has a cuff, so wearing it can be inconvenience. But, Neul Hyeorap has the advantage of being easy to use without having to use a cuff. It can be used with only with smartphones, so there is no financial burden and it is easy to use.
Since there is no additional equipment, it is possible to measure blood pressure anywhere and anytime because it can be measured in 10 seconds without being restricted by time and place.
At CES 2020, the company has the aspiration to grab the opportunity to promote Neul Hyeorap and Hailey and lay the groundwork for entering the US and North American markets.
