'Block Camp', The First Youth Leading Blockchain Hackathon

BBR(Blockchain Business Review), the blockchain projects incubator and new economic organization leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution, holds the blockchain hackathon 'Block Camp' on October 27 th and 28th at Seoul Startup Hub(Mapo-gu). This is the first official event of ABF in Seoul(Asia Blockchain & Fintech in Seoul) co-hosted by Seoul Metropolitan Government and Chain Partners.
'Chain your ideas, Create the blocks', featured as the slogan, implies 'Creative Innovation', which aims to achieve innovation by bringing the ideas together of young developers who are devoted to blockchain research and technology development.
The event was planned to show ambition and creativity of the youth in Korea, in the middle of technological-hegemonic competition where whole world is trying to take the lead in Fourth Industrial Revolution. To support this, programs for discovering and developing various blockchain business models are also prepared. Accordingly, BBR reported to provide commercialization opportunities with companies participating in judgement, along with prizes for champions of the hackathon.
"Since it is the first blockchain hackathon in Korea to be planned and run by youth, our expectations are high for Korean youth", said Hyeon Jae Lee, BBR co-chairman. "This event will be a great chance for mutual growth of both BBR and the youth with passion and abilities", said Min-Hong Lee, chief director of Block Camp.
Registration for the hackathon can be done online by visiting BBR website, or directly applying at google docs and on-off mix. When the application is closed, selected candidates will be announced after the preliminary examination. The candidates will be informed about the hackathon challenges and overall information of the event at the orientation.
